Reach is the number of unique people who saw your content or ad at least once. Even if someone sees your post five times, they count as one person in reach.
Reach shows how wide an audience your message gets to and should not be confused with impressions. Impressions are total views; reach is how many different people you reached.
Dividing impressions by reach gives frequency, the average number of times one person saw your content. If ad frequency climbs too high, the audience tires and performance drops.
Frequency = Impressions ÷ Reach
30,000 impressions and 10,000 reach means each person saw the content about 3 times on average.
PRACTICAL TIPS
