CPA (cost per acquisition) is the average cost of getting a target action from ads, such as a customer, order, booking or form. It is one of the most meaningful ad metrics for a business because it looks straight at results.
A good CPA is lower than the profit a customer brings you. If you make 200 TRY profit on an average order, a 250 TRY CPA means a loss.
Lowering CPA is not just about cheap clicks; it means targeting the right audience, building a convincing landing page and tracking conversions properly.
CPA = Total ad spend ÷ Conversions
If you spent 6,000 TRY and got 30 orders, CPA = 6,000 ÷ 30 = 200 TRY.
PRACTICAL TIPS
- 01Set up conversion tracking (Pixel, Google tag) correctly first.
- 02Set your target CPA based on profit per customer.
- 03Keep the landing page fast and focused on one action.
