Is your ad getting clicks but no enquiries? Most of the time the problem isn’t the ad, it’s the page the ad leads to. Sending visitors to a general homepage is like telling them “find what you’re looking for yourself”, and a large part of the budget gets lost there.
What is a landing page?
A landing page is a page built for a specific ad or campaign that asks the visitor to do one thing: fill in a form, call, order or book. While a homepage covers everything, a landing page focuses on a single offer.
Why do you need a separate page?
If your ad says “first check-up free for teeth whitening”, the person who clicks wants to see exactly that offer. Menus, other services and unrelated information distract them. The stronger the match between ad and page, the higher the conversion rate, and the more customers you win from the same budget.
What should a good landing page include?
- A clear headline: One that repeats the ad’s promise and says what you offer at first glance.
- A single call to action: One prominent button like “Book a free appointment”. Multiple options create hesitation.
- Benefits: Short points about the result the customer gets rather than features.
- Trust signals: Customer reviews, client logos, before-and-after images, guarantees.
- A short form: Ask only for what you really need. Every extra field reduces the number of people who fill it in.
Speed and mobile
Most ad traffic comes from phones. If the page doesn’t load within a few seconds, visitors leave before you’ve shown them anything and the money you paid for the click is wasted. Compress images, avoid unnecessary animation and make sure buttons are easy to tap with a thumb.
Measure and test
Track form submissions, calls and WhatsApp clicks as conversions. Then compare two versions by changing a single element such as the headline, button text or image. This is called A/B testing, and it shows that even small changes can make a big difference.
